[Mep-dev] New beacon in San Diego area

Fellow microwavers in the Southern California area:

    SDMG has installed a GPS locked beacon operating on 5760.00 MHz.The carrier is identified every 90 seconds as K6QPV/B  

    The beacon is located on Mt. Miguel, EL. 2565 ft., DM12MQ, Lat/Lon is 32 deg 41.80 min North and 116 deg 56.09 min West.  

    The transmitter develops 2.5 watts output and is coupled to a WA6CGR non-directional slot array antenna.
