[Mep-dev] MUD - 2009 in Dallas TX

The 2009 Microwave Update (http://www.microwaveupdate.org/index.php) will be held in Dallas this year 21-25 October, and at least three of us are attending. Roger, Paul KB5MU, and myself W5NYV. We're looking forward to the event, and I'm interested in finding out whether anyone else on the list has plans to go or could be convinced to go. Let me know. 

Last year was my first year attending, and it jump-started several Big Ideas. The event is a very positive experience and I encourage anyone able to attend to give it serious consideration. MEP will not be formally presenting this year, but we will have several meetings and it's my intention to make several decisions over the weekend, including whether or not to keep experimenting with Moblin, whether or not to seriously embark on Snapdragon investigations, start with Xastir or start fresh (for station discovery and GPS), among other things! I'm hoping the surplus tour will result in some boxes being shipped home.


I still owe you all a big hardware update!
