Thanks for the pointer to the book. I just ordered it.

I spent the weekend volunteering with CERT for the final leg of the AMGEN Tour of California bicycle race. It went well, we learned a lot, and we got some interesting photographs of the microwave uplink stations (commercial video) that were perched at the top of Palomar Mountain.
