At some point I am hopeful we will have some boards that can interface a
USRP daughterboard to the beagle expansion connector. Chris sounds like
his guy is getting somewhere. (The problem with senior projects, they
are due at the end of the year)

Issues that need chasing for USRP support, Angstrom is using libusb-1.0
(or what will become that) which breaks the GNU Radio usrp driver. I can
hack around it and build the old version, but I really want to see
gnuradio get fixed since the libusb guys have indicated people need to
be moving to the 1.0 version.

In the next few weeks, I'm going to look at moving data in/out of the
beagle via SPI. The best we can do with the beagle would apply the MMC
interface on the expansion connector.

For really serious SDR work, I think the answer is to use the Gumstix
Overo line. The connector on the Overo products let you connect to the
GPMC (General Purpose Memory Controller, I think) interface. This would
let us treat the FPGA as memory.

I haven't worked through all the MEP info, but I'll be glad to help you
work through Beagle related issues. Intel must be stopped :)
