GeMMA is Tx only; whilst it will indeed be the best thing since the 
electron, is it merely the fore-runner to the full uWSDR transceiver, 
which of course will be the best thing since whatever there was before 
electrons :)

So to get full transceive capability you would need to connect OMAP to a 
full uWSDR, and uWSDR RF board will have the capability of supporting 
the full bandwidth for digital ATV or whatever - with some component 
changes required to get the extra I/Q bandwidth.  The uWSDR back-end 
will only support I/Q sampling up to 96k samples/sec, maybe 192k 
samples/sec at a push.  For higher data rates different A/D and D/A will 
be required - not sure if this is supported on the OMAP Eval board or 
the Beagleboard?  If not, then some new back-end A/D & D/A processing 
will be required.
