If you are interested in working on the air interface document for MEP, let me know, and we will start to get organized and begin.
Active Air Interface Document team members will get a special badge! It's like a merit badge for adults, and will be donated from the embroidery machine of Mark Raptis KF6WTN and enthusiastically bankrolled by BoM (Bank of Michelle). You can put this badge on the yet-to-be-designed MEP "spirit wear", coming to a Cafe Press near you "real soon now".
I have never written an air interface document before, but I've designed according to one. I'm going to pick up an example TIA common air interface document (cellular phone) today in order to have at least one model to work from.
If you have any examples of an air interface document, then dig them up for reference and discussion.
The goal is to produce a quality air interface document as well as learn how to produce one. This means that if you have always been interested in learning how to write an air interface document but have never really gotten the chance, then this is an opportunity to learn. We welcome all levels of participation. If you have an hour a month to write and review, then we will soak up your hour.
If you have more time than that, then we'll take full advantage of you!
I'd like to update the website with the working document at least once a week and there will be a formal review. Discussions will happen on the list, and all are welcome to comment, critique, and contribute.
