=0A=0AMost visitors to the site are from the USA, with Canada and Germany =
tied for second place. =0A=0APlease let me know what would make the site, f=
eed, and list more useful and helpful and I'll do all that I can to achieve=
it. Since so many of us are spread out so far, a useful site and tool set =
is important in order to communicate effectively.=0A=0AHere is a question f=
or the team. I've used mathcad for many years to do calculations and prepar=
e mathematical documents. Mathcad was bought out and is no longer marketed =
to individuals. It's just not the best solution for collaborative mathemati=
cal work. =0A=0AWhat sorts of tools would you all suggest for collaborative=
engineering work? =0A=0AThe programs I'm familiar with include excel and m=
atlab. I haven't yet tried Sage, which is an open-source math program. Ther=
e is also Maple. =0A=0AI think it would be great to use open-source softwar=
e whenever possible. Has anyone out there used Sage or another open-source =
math software package?=0A=0Amore soon!=A0-Michelle W5NYV
