OK on MDS and noise figure.
I'll check in to the microwave net tonight and see what other things the gang thinks might be achievable or worth looking at.
Happy Holidays,
-Michelle W5NYV

Minimum discernible signal in 10 MHz , noise figure so we know
how much preamp is needed.

Greetings to everyone,
We have received a built-up transverter (3.4GHz) and local
oscillator board (3GHz) from the San Bernardino Microwave Society.
Chris Shoaff N9RIN, a lead designer for the board, also sent supporting
documentary photographs. I'll get those up on the site as soon as I can.
Question for the team: What measurements should be in the
test and characterization plan?
-Bandwidth characterized
-phase stability measured
What other measurements should we include, at a minimum?
More soon!
